Columbia Utilities is not affiliated with any local utility and is a licensed independent seller of electricity and natural Natural Gas in the state of New York. Switching to a competitive supplier is not mandatory and you the consumer have the option of remaining with your local distribution utility for basic generation service.
*This is an electric renewable product, one hundred percent (100%) of your electricity usage will be paired with renewable energy certificates supporting the NY EDP Program generated in the same vintage year and from resources which may include wind, solar, pumped storage, run of river hydro or any other zero-emission sources which have been qualified as such.
